Damon Davis Makes His Art Basel Debut with Black Lives Matter
Strategy + Media Relations + Events
We made artists and activists feel seen by elevating their work and sharing their stories.
Acclaimed post-disciplinary artist Damon Davis made his Art Basel debut with his afro-surrealism exhibit, Darker Gods in the Garden of The Hanging Fruit. As Davis’ deities of color reclaimed their identity through the supernatural, Made You Feel worked with Black Lives Matter to make sure people were paying attention.
We garnered 35+ placements and 330 million media impressions for Davis’ artwork as the nation watched buyers take to the beach.
